- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 (18.25 oz / 517g) box yellow cake mix
- ¾ cup (170g) butter, melted
- ½ cup (60g) chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Step 2: Spread apple pie filling evenly in the pan. Sprinkle cinnamon over the filling.
- Step 3: Pour dry cake mix evenly over the apple filling and cinnamon.
- Step 4: Drizzle melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
- Step 5: Sprinkle nuts on top (if using).
- Step 6: Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Step 7: Cool for 15 minutes before serving.
