  • 1 cup (200g) uncooked white rice
  • 1 pound (450g) ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) honey
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon (5ml) soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5ml) garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5ml) onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1.25ml) black pepper
  • 1 cup (150g) shredded carrots
  • 1 cup (150g) sliced cucumbers
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Cook the rice according to package instructions and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground turkey over medium heat until browned and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes.
  3. While the turkey cooks, prepare the bang bang sauce by whisking together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, honey, rice vinegar, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper in a small bowl.
  4. Once the turkey is cooked, remove from heat and stir in half of the bang bang sauce until well coated.
  5. To assemble the bowls, divide the cooked rice among four bowls. Top each with the saucy ground turkey.
  6. Arrange shredded carrots and sliced cucumbers around the turkey in each bowl.
  7. Drizzle the remaining bang bang sauce over the bowls.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
