- 225g / 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 225g / 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 200g / 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 300g / 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 50g / ¼ cup granulated sugar (for coating)
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 175°C / 350°F. Line baking sheets.
- Cream butter and cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar, egg, and vanilla; beat until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients.
- In a small bowl, mix the 50g sugar with cinnamon.
- Roll dough into balls and coat each in cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Place on prepared baking sheets and bake for 10–12 minutes, until edges are lightly golden.
- Cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
