Ingredients

  • Oatmeal Base:
    • 1/2 cup rolled oats
    • 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
    • 1/4 cup maple syrup
    • 1 tsp vanilla extract
    • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
    • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Cinnamon Swirl:
    • 2 tbsp butter (or plant-based alternative)
    • 2 tbsp brown sugar
    • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Glaze:
    • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
    • 12 tsp milk (dairy or plant-based)
    • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8 inch baking dish.
  2. Whisk together oatmeal base ingredients in a large bowl. Pour into the baking dish.
  3. Melt butter for cinnamon swirl in a small saucepan. Stir in brown sugar and cinnamon.
  4. Drizzle cinnamon swirl over oatmeal base in a swirl pattern.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until set and golden brown.
  6. Whisk together glaze ingredients in a small bowl.
  7. Let oatmeal bake cool for 5 minutes, then drizzle glaze over the top. Serve warm.
