Ingredients

  • 1 (21 ounce) can apple pie filling
  • 1 (15 ounce) box yellow cake mix
  • 3/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup caramel topping
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pour the apple pie filling into the bottom of a greased 6-quart slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the apple pie filling. Do not stir.
  3. Pour the melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
