- 1 pound cremini mushrooms, sliced
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook, stirring occasionally, until they release their liquid and start to brown, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Cook until the broth has reduced by half, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in butter until melted and the sauce has thickened slightly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately as a side dish or over pasta, rice, or grilled chicken.
