  • 1 lb (450g) ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup (60g) breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup (25g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup (240ml) marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  3. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed. Be careful not to overmix.
  4. Roll the mixture into 1-inch meatballs. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until meatballs are cooked through and lightly browned (internal temperature of 165°F / 74°C).
  6. Warm marinara sauce in a saucepan while meatballs are baking.
  7. Serve meatballs over pasta with marinara sauce, or as an appetizer.
