- 1 lb (450g) ground chicken
- 1/2 cup (60g) breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup (25g) grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup (240ml) marinara sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
- Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed. Be careful not to overmix.
- Roll the mixture into 1-inch meatballs. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until meatballs are cooked through and lightly browned (internal temperature of 165°F / 74°C).
- Warm marinara sauce in a saucepan while meatballs are baking.
- Serve meatballs over pasta with marinara sauce, or as an appetizer.
