  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 pound pasta (such as spaghetti, fettuccine, or penne)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a shallow dish, combine flour, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dredge the chicken pieces in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  6. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for about 30 seconds, until fragrant.
  7. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
  8. Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Simmer for a few minutes, until the sauce has thickened slightly.

  10. Stir in the fresh parsley.
