Ingredients
1 lb (450g) ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
1 small cabbage, shredded
1 can (14.5 oz / 410g) diced tomatoes, with juice
1 cup (185g) cooked rice
1 tbsp (15ml) Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and onion until browned, about 7 minutes. Drain fat.
Add shredded cabbage, diced tomatoes, cooked rice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
Simmer the mixture for 5 minutes to blend flavors.
Transfer to the baking dish, spreading evenly.
Cover with foil and bake your savory cabbage beef bake for 30–35 minutes, until cabbage is tender.
Let rest for 5 minutes, then serve warm.
