Ingredients

  • 12 teaspoons milk (dairy or non-dairy)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine the applesauce, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  3. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
  4. Gently fold in the diced apple.
  5. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the apple mixture into the air fryer basket, being careful not to overcrowd. You may need to cook in batches.
  7. Air fry for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through, flipping halfway through.
  8. While the fritters are cooking, prepare the glaze by whisking together the powdered sugar and milk in a small bowl. Add more milk, 1/2 teaspoon at a time, until you reach your desired consistency.
