- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into small pieces
- 12 slider buns
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- ½ cup honey
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1–2 tbsp hot sauce (adjust to taste)
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Step 1: In a bowl, whisk together honey, apple cider vinegar, hot sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. Set aside.
- Step 2: Season flour with salt and pepper, then toss chicken pieces in it to coat.
- Step 3: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high. Cook the chicken for 8–10 minutes, until browned and cooked through (165°F/74°C).
- Step 4: Pour in the hot honey sauce, stir to coat, and simmer 2–3 minutes to thicken slightly.
- Step 5: Brush tops of slider buns with melted butter. Assemble sliders with chicken on bottom buns, top with the buttered lids, and serve immediately.

- Chicken Swap: Chicken thighs can be used instead of breasts.
