Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, combine the granulated sugar and brown sugar.
- In another bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, vegetable oil, eggs, vanilla extract, and milk.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Slice and serve.
