- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using) and cook for about 30 seconds, or until fragrant.
- Pour in the vegetable broth and bring to a boil.
- Add the pasta to the pot and stir to ensure it is submerged in the liquid.
- Reduce the heat to medium-low, cover the pot, and simmer for about 10-12 minutes, or until the pasta is cooked through and the liquid has been absorbed, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
