Ingredients
2 cups (480ml) milk
1 cup (240ml) heavy cream
1/4 cup (50g) sugar
1/2 cup (90g) white chocolate chips
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1–2 drops red food coloring
whipped cream (optional, for topping)
marshmallows (optional, for topping)
crushed peppermints (optional, for topping)
Instructions
Add the milk and heavy cream to a medium saucepan and heat over medium-high until it boils. Once boiling, reduce heat to medium-low.
Stir in the sugar and white chocolate chips. Whisk until chocolate chips are completely melted and sugar is well combined.
Remove from heat, then stir in the vanilla extract and red food coloring until evenly distributed.
