Tender beef slow-cooked in a sweet and savory Hawaiian BBQ sauce. Easy, flavorful, and perfect for sliders, rice bowls, or lettuce wraps!
Ingredients

- 1.5 kg / 3.3 lbs beef chuck roast
- 240 ml / 1 cup pineapple juice
- 240 ml / 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 60 ml / 1/4 cup reduced sodium soy sauce
- 60 g / 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 30 ml / 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Sear beef roast on all sides (optional).
- Combine pineapple juice, BBQ sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, garlic, ginger, smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour sauce over beef in slow cooker.
- Cook on low for 6–8 hours or high for 3–4 hours, until tender.
- Shred beef, return to slow cooker, and toss with sauce.
- Serve on buns, over rice, or in lettuce wraps.

- Adjust Sweetness: Reduce brown sugar if preferred.
- Spicy Kick: Add red pepper flakes or hot sauce.
