- 1 cup sliced strawberries
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
- 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese (optional)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Wash and dry the baby spinach thoroughly, then place it in a large salad bowl.
- Slice the strawberries and add them to the bowl with the spinach.
- In a small dry skillet, toast the sliced almonds over medium heat for 2-3 minutes until lightly golden and fragrant. Let them cool slightly before adding to the salad.
- If using, sprinkle the crumbled feta cheese over the salad.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, honey, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss gently to coat all ingredients evenly.
- Serve immediately for the best texture and flavor.
