For the Chicken:

- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter (113g)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup chicken broth (120ml)
- 1/4 cup heavy cream (60ml)
- 2 tbsp tomato paste (30ml)
- 1 tbsp honey (15ml)
- 1 tsp lemon juice (5ml)
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the Chicken: In a bowl, combine the chicken pieces with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well to ensure the chicken is evenly coated.
- Cook the Chicken: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken and cook for 6-8 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and lightly browned. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- Make the Butter Sauce: In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute, or until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
- Add Liquids: Pour in the chicken broth, heavy cream, and tomato paste. Stir well to combine. Add the honey, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes (if using). Season with salt to taste.
- Simmer the Sauce: Bring the sauce to a simmer and let it cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has thickened slightly.
- Combine Chicken and Sauce: Add the cooked chicken back into the skillet with the butter sauce. Stir gently to coat the chicken evenly with the sauce.
- Finish and Serve: Let the chicken simmer in the sauce for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together. Garnish with fresh parsley.
- Serve Hot: Serve hot with rice, mashed potatoes, or your favorite side dish.
