Easy & delicious Crockpot Caramel Apple Dump Cake. Minimal prep, maximum flavor! Perfect fall dessert.

- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 (15.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
- 1 (21 ounce) can apple pie filling
- 1/2 cup caramel topping
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
Instructions
- Grease the bottom and sides of your crockpot with butter or cooking spray.
- Pour the apple pie filling into the bottom of the crockpot and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle the ground cinnamon over the apple pie filling.
- Pour the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the apple pie filling. Do not stir.
- Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the dry cake mix.
- Drizzle the caramel topping evenly over the cake mix and butter.
- Sprinkle the chopped nuts (if using) over the top.
- Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 3-4 hours, or on high for 1.5-2 hours, or until the cake is golden brown and cooked through. Cooking times may vary depending on your crockpot.
- Let the dump cake cool slightly before serving. Serve warm, optionally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
