- 500g boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1/2 medium head of green cabbage, shredded
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
- 1/4 cup slivered almonds
- 1/4 cup crispy fried noodles
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp grated fresh ginger
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Combine chicken with soy sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, ground ginger, garlic powder, and pepper.
- Heat skillet over medium heat and cook chicken until browned and fully cooked. Sprinkle with sesame seeds while cooking.
- In a small bowl, whisk together rice vinegar, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, fresh ginger, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes.
- In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage, carrots, green onions, cilantro, and cooked chicken.
- Pour the dressing over the salad, toss to coat, then top with slivered almonds and crispy noodles just before serving.
