  • 1 lb beef flank steak thinly sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds

Method
 

Preparation & Cooking
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the sliced flank steak and sear for 3-4 minutes until browned.
  4. Add the broccoli florets and cook for another 3 minutes until tender-crisp.
  5. Pour the sauce over the beef and broccoli, tossing to coat evenly, and cook for 1-2 minutes until everything is hot and well coated.

Notes

Serve over rice or noodles if desired. Garnish with extra sesame seeds.
