  • 2 large eggs 100g
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 5ml
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour 250g
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt 3g
  • 1.5 cups diced honeycrisp apples 200g

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 350F (175C) and grease a 9x9 baking pan.
  2. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat until golden brown and nutty, then let it cool.
  3. Whisk brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract into the cooled browned butter.
  4. Fold in the flour and salt until just combined.
  5. Gently stir in the diced apples.
  6. Spread the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  7. Cool completely before slicing into squares.
