  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
Glaze
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce alcohol-free alternative

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, milk, chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and thyme, mixing gently until combined.
  3. Shape the meat mixture into a loaf and place it into a glass baking dish.
  4. Whisk together the ketchup, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce in a small bowl to create the glaze.
  5. Spread the glaze evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
  6. Bake for 60-70 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  7. Allow the meatloaf to rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
