  • 4 cups sliced fresh peaches approx 800g
  • 1 cup granulated sugar approx 200g
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour approx 125g
  • 1 cup milk approx 240ml
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted, approx 115g
  • 1 tbsp baking powder approx 15g
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon approx 5g

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350F (175C).
  2. Place the sliced peaches into a baking dish.
  3. Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and milk in a bowl until the mixture is smooth.
  4. Pour the batter evenly over the peaches, then drizzle the melted butter over the top.
  5. Sprinkle the ground cinnamon over the entire dish.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes until the topping is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.

Notes

Serve warm, ideally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
