Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb chicken pieces cut into bite-sized portions
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup banana pepper juice
  • 1/4 cup sliced banana peppers
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Equipment

  • Large skillet

Method

Cooking Steps
  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brown chicken pieces for 5-7 minutes, then remove and set aside.
  2. Sauté chopped onion in the same skillet until softened, about 3-4 minutes, then add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Pour in chicken broth to deglaze the pan, scraping up all browned bits from the bottom.
  4. Reduce heat to medium-low and stir in heavy cream, cream cheese, banana pepper juice, and sliced banana peppers until the sauce is creamy.
  5. Season with oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper, then return the chicken to the skillet.
  6. Simmer for 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens and the chicken is fully cooked through.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Serve hot over steamed rice or with crusty bread to soak up the creamy sauce.
