  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, diced about 1 cup
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup pepperoncini juice
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoncini peppers
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions
  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add chicken pieces and cook for 5-7 minutes per side until browned and cooked through, then remove and set aside.
  3. Add diced onion to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until softened, then add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Pour in chicken broth, heavy cream, and pepperoncini juice, stirring to combine.
  5. Add sliced pepperoncini peppers, dried oregano, black pepper, and salt, stirring well.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over, and simmer on low for 5 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve.
