Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375F (190C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat and drain any excess fat.
- Whisk together the condensed soup and milk in a mixing bowl, then stir in the cooked beef.
- Place half of the sliced potatoes into the baking dish and spread half of the beef mixture over the top.
- Repeat the layers once more, then cover the dish and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove the cover, sprinkle the top evenly with shredded cheese, and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden.

Ensure potatoes are sliced thinly to guarantee they cook through within the allotted time.
