  • 2 cups all-purpose flour 240g
  • 1 cup granulated sugar 200g
  • 1 cup apple cider 240ml
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder 5g
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 3g
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 3g
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted 60g
  • 1 large egg 50g

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350F (175C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. Whisk the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and cinnamon together in a medium bowl.
  3. In a separate large bowl, whisk the melted butter, sugar, egg, and apple cider until well combined.
  4. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just incorporated.
  5. Transfer the batter to a piping bag and pipe into the prepared donut pan.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the donuts are set.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before removing from the pan and coating with cinnamon sugar.
