- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Combine cottage cheese, flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl, mixing until a dough forms.
- Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently for 1-2 minutes until smooth.
- Divide the dough into 6 equal portions, shape into balls, and poke a hole in the center of each to create a bagel shape.
- Place the bagels on the prepared baking sheet.
- Whisk the egg and milk together, then brush the mixture over the tops of the bagels.
- Sprinkle the sesame seeds and everything bagel seasoning over the bagels.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and firm to the touch.
- Cool on a wire rack before serving.
Notes
Ensure the cottage cheese is well-drained if it is very wet to maintain dough consistency. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
