  • 1/4 tsp salt

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and place a pizza stone or baking sheet inside to heat.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, add onions, sugar, and salt, and cook for 15-20 minutes until caramelized.
  3. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to form a 12-inch circle.
  4. Spread the BBQ sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border for the crust.
  5. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  6. Distribute the shredded chicken and caramelized onions evenly over the cheese.
  7. Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese.
  8. Transfer the pizza to the preheated pizza stone or baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  10. Remove from the oven, cool for 2-3 minutes, garnish with fresh herbs, and serve.

Notes

Ensure chicken is fully cooked before adding to the pizza. You can use store-bought rotisserie chicken for convenience.
