Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. Whisk together the barbecue sauce, brown sugar, and smoked paprika in a small bowl.

  4. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
  5. Shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker using two forks.
  6. Toss the shredded chicken with the sauce until thoroughly coated before serving.
